Family Forums

What is a Family Forum?

Family Forums bring families affected by a workplace tragedy together to share, network and, ultimately, heal. At this special event, spouses, parents, siblings and close friends gather to learn coping skills for grief, active listening skills, tips on how the occupational health and safety system works, self-care, and so much more.

Upcoming Family Forums – 2022

Threads of Life hosts three regional Family Forums across Canada. In 2022, we plan to gather in person once again. Everyone is required to show proof of vaccination for COVID-19 to attend. If you would like to attend a Family Forum in 2022, please pre-register for your Regional Family Forum by following the link below.

For more information on the forums, including registration information, click on any of the following links. Please note that workshops and forum activities are only available in English at this time.

Atlantic Family Forum – for families in Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Quebec.

Central Family Forum – for families in Ontario, Quebec and Nunavut.

Western Family Forum – for families in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Yukon and Northwest Territories
