Peer support groups

Have you lost a loved one to a death in the workplace? Talk to others who get it.

Threads of Life’s local 6-week peer support program offers a safe, non-judgmental place to find hope and healing by sharing experiences with others. The weekly sessions focus on healthy coping skills as participants learn to live with their loss.

The support group is open to people who

▪ have been affected by a fatality that occurred between one and five years ago
▪ are aged 18 or older
▪ are willing to commit to attending for the full 6 weeks

We recognize that each family is unique, as are the relationships to your loved one. Registration for each session is open to two members per family and may include parents, step-parents, siblings, spouses, adult children or grandparents.

There is no cost to attend. However, advance registration is required. Space is limited.

For more information or to register, please contact Kate Kennington, Family Support Manager at kkennington@threadsoflife.ca or 1-888-567-9490.
